A final fall dinner and cruise is scheduled for Oct. 25, according to Blennerhassett Island State Park Superintendent Matt Baker. “These dinner cruises have been popular and we’ve had requests for an additional one during the fall foliage season. We plan to schedule more in 2015.”

The cruise is aboard the Island Belle sternwheeler and includes a country-style dinner and boat ride on the Ohio and Little Kanawha Rivers. The Island Belle departs from Point Park in downtown Parkersburg, West Virginia, at 5:30 p.m. and returns at 7:30 p.m.

The menu includes tavern baked ham, baked potato, corn, dinner roll, dessert and beverage. A vegetarian menu is available upon request.

The cost of the river cruise and dinner is $25 for adults and $21 for children ages 3-12. Seating is limited and advance reservations are required. Call the park office at 304-420-4800.
