Previously the terrain park director at Timberline Ski Resort, Brian comes with a wealth of experience in the ski industry.

“Terrain parks cater to individuals looking for winter adventure. Brian Sarfino brings impressive terrain park credentials from out west as well as regional resorts,” said General Manager David Herscher. “His energy and experience will create a tremendous terrain park at this state park.”

Events planned at Canaan Valley Resort this ski season include a multi-date Rail Jam Series with the first competition slated for Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015. In rail jamming, snowboarders compete by performing tricks on rails, boxes, pipes, wall rides, and several other creative features.

“I’m excited about the development of a first-rate terrain park for free style enthusiast coming to the resort and our featured events,” Herscher said.
