InnerAction Media (IAM) won five national Hospital Marketing Advertising Awards for three different hospitals Tuesday, June 14.

The 2016 Hospital Marketing Awards showcase exemplary work spanning multiple media disciplines and categories across the country. Entries are judged by the Direct to Consumer (DTC) Perspectives’ editorial and executive teams. DTC is a publishing conference/training and consulting company specializing in the area of consumer marketing of pharmaceutical and healthcare products. “InnerAction Media is honored and blessed to represent and serve all three hospital systems and their patients,” said Jim Matuga, IAM CEO.  “I am truly grateful for my team and all they do to serve our clients and their patients.”

IAM won the following awards:

  • Best Digital Campaign — Gold Winner: Mon General Hospital (under 200 beds)
  • Best Television Campaign — Silver Winner: Mon General Hospital (under 200 beds) Morgantown, W.Va.
  • Best Service Line Campaign — Silver Winner: Trinity Health System-Heart Care (under 500 beds)
  • Best Website — Bronze Winner: Trinity Health System (200-500 beds) Steubenville, Oh.
  • Best Website — Silver Winner: Reynolds Memorial Hospital (under 200 beds) Glen Dale, W.Va.

Mon General Hospital’s digital and television campaigns are for their Zelda Stein Weiss Cancer Center (ZSWCC), which includes videos showcasing the doctors and patient testimonials, social media and their website.  Two cancer survivors, Candy and Corrine, share their stories and experiences with the Cancer Center in standalone films and TV commercials.

“It is hard not to get inspired when working with cancer survivors like Candy and Corrine,” said Dylan Sheldon, IAM senior video producer. “Their boldness and desire to help others in similar circumstances is contagious.”

Trinity Health System’s Heart Care service line campaign includes video marketing, social media and a new website.

EM-Media is the agency of record for Trinity Health System and has been for many years.  IAM was brought on to handle the Inbound Marketing campaign, which includes extensive video assets, micro-sites and multiple service line marketing funnels.

“We have a unique, one of a kind relationship with the hospital where they are utilizing two different marketing agencies working in collaboration with each other to provide the best possible outcomes for the hospital system and their patients,” Matuga said.

“InnerAction Media performs marketing strategy, Inbound Marketing through HubSpot, video creation, blog articles and social media integration.  Em-Media handles traditional media, social media and video production systems.”

“Collaborating with InnerAction Media on the Trinity Health System’s Inbound project is a true example of how to best serve a client’s interests,” said Jim Emmerling, Em-Media president.  “Combining the strengths of two media firms without regard of competition was very rewarding, highly effective and cost efficient.

“The quality of work was second to none, and the work experience phenomenal.  Congratulations to all the InnerAction and Em-Media team members.”

Reynolds Memorial Hospital’s website was redesigned from scratch to deliver a fresh and modern look and better user experience. Key features of the site include a mobile friendly experience and easy to use navigation.

“With this redesign, we were able to create a look and feel that makes Reynolds Memorial Hospital shine,” said Jenna Britton, IAM graphic designer. The website can be viewed here: http://reynoldsmemorial.com.

“We are so incredibly proud of the work that InnerAction Media has done for us,” said Dr. David Hess, M.D., Reynolds Memorial Hospital CEO.  “We had a very generic, low performing website prior to hiring their company.

“InnerAction captured the essence of what the administration, staff and most importantly, the patients wanted in a website.  We consider our website the window for the community and patients to see into our organization, and thanks to their efforts, our website is now vibrant, active and a source of pride.”

The awards were presented June 14 at the Crowne Plaza Midtown in Atlanta, Ga., as part of DTC Perspectives’ 2016 HMN Conference, which will host another awards ceremony in San Diego, Calif., June 23 and 24.

The winners of the Atlanta and San Diego awards will be entered into an HMN Ad Awards Finalists ceremony in Philadelphia, Pa., October 26, where each category will have one winner emerge.
