Publicis Touchpoint Solutions, Inc— a leading provider of customized, cross-channel, healthcare sales, service, and clinical teams—has announced that Rick Keefer, president and chief executive officer, has been selected by PharmaVOICE as one of its “100 Most Inspiring People” in the Life Sciences Industry for an unprecedented six straight years. Publicis Touchpoint Solutions is a division of Publicis Healthcare Communications Group.

Keefer was selected as one of 28 Commanders and Chiefs in the life sciences industry. PharmaVOICE 100 nominations are submitted by readers and the list was published in the magazine’s July/August issue.

Described as a visionary, Keefer is known to embrace the tumultuous market changes with a can-do attitude. He has the ability to foresee industry trends and can strategically plan with those changes in mind. By turning problems into opportunities, he has successfully re-engineered the company into one that has experienced significant growth and consistently finds new ways to reach more customers, and ultimately, more patients.

“By continually and routinely improving the way we’re doing business we’ve moved from what was a single-focused supplier to a much larger, diverse, robust, and multi-focused organization,” said Keefer. “With digital advancements, we are able to deliver novel business solutions and creative tactics to help our clients succeed,” finished Keefer.

Keefer also leads his company in a socially responsible manner, which includes supporting the company’s Evergreen program to promote green practices and raising funds for several local non-profits. The organization recently participated in a company-wide volunteer day to paint the interior of the Bucks Villa residence (a home for AIDS/HIV patients in the New Hope, PA area).

Keefer has been in the life sciences and healthcare business since 1975, joining Touchpoint in 2006. Previously, he worked with Biovail Pharmaceuticals, Wyeth-Ayerst Laboratories, Pharmacia, and A.H. Robins Company.
