“Downton Abbey” has earned continued record-breaking award recognition since its first season made the Guinness World Records book in 2010 for highest critical ratings for a TV show.

The series follows the Crawley family and the servants in their Yorkshire mansion during the post-Edwardian era. The Season 3 premiere, which has already excited enthusiastic praise from its run in the UK, will pick back up in the early 1920s with social stir after a much-awaited wedding engagement and the fallout of World War I.
